Free Credit Report
Here you can get your credit report for free as mandated by the federal
government.  Information from all three major credit reporting companies
can be ordered at once.  You are entitled to receive one free credit file
disclosure every 12 months from each company.  

Federal Trade Commission
Here you can get some good advice on looking for the best mortgage.  
Being informed is good for us since we know we'll be tough to beat.

Fannie Mae  
Here you can get a good overview of the mortgage lending process.  

HUD
Here you can review the legalities of your settlement statement and get the
definition of RESPA which governs the disclosures required on your
settlement statement at closing and your Good Faith Estimate.
